Try to get 7-8 hours of sleep every night.
Participate in physical activity that you like, that way you can continue doing it without getting frustrated.
Get up a bit earlier than you need to. This allows you to carve out time for self-care (exercise, meditation, breakfast) so that you don't have to rush out the door.
Drink 2 cups of water first thing in the morning because it is excellent for gut health and hydration.
Pack your lunch the night before, that way you have no excuse for skipping or eating out the next day.
Eat slowly so you can stop eating once you are satisfied. If you eat quickly, you are more likely to reach the level of fullness where you feel uncomfortable.
Go grocery shopping every weekend, even if you just got back from a trip or have a busy day. It will set you up for success for the rest of the week.
Keep the freezer stocked with frozen fruits, vegetables and precooked foods such as brown rice, black beans, burritos, and meatballs.
Stash non-perishable snacks in your purse, car, office, and cabinets so they are there when you need them. Some go-to's include nut packs, fruit, nut butter and crackers.
Make space for foods that are not the healthiest and taste really good. Sometimes you'll want to eat birthday cake or snacks that are considered unhealthy, don't feel guilty about it!
